How was your first weekend of turkey season?

We saw plenty of birds just didn't have any come in for a shot. Weather was rough Saturday.

Didn't get to go out until Monday. I never saw or heard a single turkey. And with the weather that is predicted I may not get out again for a few days at least.

I've been tied up this week unable to get out. Now the forecast for the weekend looks horrible. Oh well.

After fearing for our lives this morning, the afternoon was outstanding. Birds moving everywhere. My buddy and I doubled with two NICE birds at 2:45.

Have some buddies that have scored and one has tagged out. I was at Dale Hollow opening weekend and this weather has turned me off. I have just about given up. Haven't even bought my tags. I will probably skip my first turkey season since 1996.
