95 skeeter leaking

my buddys boat appears to be leaking around the drain plug anyone know how to access it from inside or is that not an option? any help would be appreciated, thanks eric

Best thing to do would be to replace and re-silicone. Should be an easy fix if it is a plastic drain plug; you can get them anywhere.

i am sure i didnt explain this well...lol what i meant is it appears to be leaking around the outside of the metal tube/sleeve that the drain plug is inserted into. thanks again for any help, eric

If he does'nt want to take it to a shop, try j.b.weld. It's a 2 part epoxy,
run a bead around the sleeve, just like caulking a tub or window, let dry for 1-2 days depending on temp. Check it by filling up the inside of boat with a water hose... Tr
