Is that going to mess the spawn up? Is dropping the water going to leave exposed beds? That ***** when the weather hits like this, in this time of year.

From reading Daves report he is showing he has still been catching them in staging areas. So I would assume there is alot of fish that have not transitioned on bed yet. I think it will affect the spawn, but not nearly as bad as it could if this would have happened a few weeks later.
It has been my experience that some will go back in the jungle with the high water but most will spawn in the areas they normally do and there is no reason for the TVA to pull water below summer pool at the end of this flood, whenever that is....might be after the spawn. Right now more excited about the two possible tornado's that just passed my house...one 3 miles north of me and one 3 miles south of me....talk about close...egg sized and tennis ball sized hail being reported just north of me too...it is going to be a long night.
