Since Rocky Fork is one of the only lakes not over pool. It is now the tournament lake for the next three weeks. LOL at least I'll get to know this lake alot better. Of course rain will be scheduled for each tourney so make sure your rain suits aren't leaking! Gear Aid Revivex thank you once again for making my season alot drier!!!

Never really noticed the taste of the water but I know there were hundreds of dead carp in the lake. And the fishing was really tough. There were 5 different tourney there that day. So it's getting pounded. But I have no idea why there were so many dead carp it was weird.
It was tough 20 years ago, carp were most likly the most prolific species in it.After that walleye out by the island and bluegills, and catfish.
Ive caught bass in it always short.
I have fond memories of Deer Creek, never ever blanked there.
But the rock is just that hard.
I've never had a problem ther I always find fish. It was just so rough with the weather and so many boats. I'll be there again this weekend and next weekend. I'll figure it out eventually.
I was wondering if anyone can confirm what I read on the web, about Rocky Fork Lake
being the #2 in the state for Hybrid Bass ? I havent been real lucky with it but I know East Fork has a good amount.
Thanks a Lot Dave
I haven't seen any at Rocky fork but I have caught pleanty at East fork. Rocky fork is just starting to turn on the water is muddy and only in the upper 50's but it suppossed to get warmer this week which should bring it up into the 60's. East fork is way up so I don't know how the fishing is yet it's been closed. But the cats crappie and bass are good at Rocky..
