My daughter is turning 8 this month, and I am going to get her her very own fly rod. She has used my little 7'6" 3 wt for several years now, and I think it is time that she gets one of her own. She loves to fly fish, especially at Trammel creek. They plant it this Monday, so I am going to pick her rod up at BPS this weekend while I'm up in LVille for work. Can't wait to see her work her own rod and rip them lips!

Thats Great...My kid-o's have not tried the fly rod. They do enjoy making there own soft plastics. I think, I might turn them loose with the fly rod tonight on a farm pond. Should be interesting!

Nice Rich, get her started at an early age. Can't wait to see the photos from her catching fish on her own fly rod.
Chuck, farm ponds and panfish are a perfect way for anybody to get their feet wet with the fly rod. Keep us updated on how they do.
Got the rod yesterday....little 7' 3wt...she'll love it! Now....if they will finally stock Trammel Creek tomorrow, then I can get some pics of her using it! Can't wait! Thanks for the encouraging words guys...
