There’s a new fishing spot in southern Indiana this summer! The Bland Family LLC has started up a corporation, and reopened 1000 Islands, a 300-plus acre body of water, south of Linton, IN in Greene County. Currently there are only monthly fishing tournaments where, usually, teams of two pay an entry fee of $100 to fish for seven or eight hours. The heaviest fishes wins 50 percent of the prize money purse with the other half going to the corporation. There have been two tournaments this year so far—both bass tournaments. Things are tough enough let alone paying 100 bucks to fish and only 50 percent payout....stick your so called corporation
