As soon as the guy called the POTUS a Richard, the guy in charge at teh desk busted out laughing and said man i was only joking, we don't have a 7 second delay. But i give the dude a pat on the back...He told the truth and i really think he should keep his job...Freedom of speech you know....

I'm not talking about comparing Bush to Hitler, or calling him a fascist, both of which are bad enough. What I specifically said was calling a President a vulgar name such as what Halperin called Obama. Or any name along those lines, doesn't have to be the same one. Show me ONE example of a network newsperson doing that.

I stand by what I said.

Oh, and KYFANATIC, he didn't think he was off the air, he thought he was on a 7-second delay, which would have meant his comment could have been bleeped out. And truth be told, I actually kind of agree. I watched the speech, and Obama WAS being a jerk with his comments. But that doesn't matter, anybody in his position who goes on the air and makes a comment like that, 7-second delay or no, is just plain STUPID. He's made his bed, now let him lie in it.
