What tricks do you guys use when you can't get schooling whites to hit the usual baits with any type of consistency.Have you ever seen it when they just about ignored every thing you threw at em? The ones I have caught have a mouth full of minnows about 1" long, some type of fry am guessing.I was having some luck on a 1/8 oz white roadrunner when all else failed but even that hasn't done well as of late.

I used a white rooster tail this weekend at Barkley and they absolutely killed it almost every cast. The girlfriend and I filled our cooler in about 45 minutes from the shoreline.
Guess I'll let this tip out there since I too used to use rooster tails a long time ago. My bait of choice for schooling whites and hybrids is called a "Kastmaster". My favorite is a chrome with feathered tail. Always works!
Good choice and that thing will flat out fly when jumps are not quite that close. Little george will also nail them.
I use yellow and purple rooster tails. They seem to do the trick.
