Lake Cumberland Docks COMPLETELY wear me out with all their entertainment. I wonder what happened to the time when a man and his buddy, a man and his wife, a man and his son or a man and his family went to the lake for the sole purpose of taking part in lake activities such as camping, laying around in the shade, listening to the grand ol opry on a tranistor radio when the station could come in, skipping rocks, playing an acoustic guitar, studying and looking for different birds, salamanders, turtles, playing checkers, and just hanging out and meeting other like minded people.
I recently saw a poll on lake cumberlands website that asked what type of music people prefer to listen to while they're at the lake. I remember one person responded as indicating his preference didn't matter because it was usually whatever some moron with a thumpin' bass wanted him to hear.
There oughta be a law I'm tellin' ya...
