I watched that first episode of "Love in the Wild" a couple of weeks ago, and they couples were travelling down the tropical river using logs lashed together with rope. I bet I could do that for under $40. That's probably the only way I'll own a boat unless I save up to buy a $150 kayak over the next year or two...
