Hydro-graphic Lake Maps of Otter Pit and Bluegrass Pit are now available at IDNR on line web site.
I don't' have a direct link and had to do some searching to find them.
But they are not what I was expecting. They look like a topo map of my bath tub in my house. Typical of a strip pit lake with steep drops and little variation in the lake topography.

Those maps are horrible. They do not even have the max depth right.
Some of the other lakes they did the chart on are so small its a joke . Speaking of jokes stay away from Widgeon pit at Bluegrass , if you wouldnt sink in the mud you could walk across it . I dragged my boat down there and ran around with a finder - mostly its 3-4 deep . Trying to fish all the pits on the Bluegrass property .
