Big Musky day,,what a day!

I was sitting waiting for my son to get here tonight to help me move back to Ky and desided just to go out and fish a little weed bed on my lake,,took my fav Mepps musky killer and was trolling to the weeds when we seen a musky just roll up and when i got to where i could cast to it i did,,WHAM,,had him on for a minute and it pulled off,,well half pissed and didn`t figure he`d hit again,,threw back and WHAM,,hooked his butt!,,got it to the boat and seen a good look,,this think ain`t going in my net!,,but after a number of trips around,under,and just about over the boat with its jumps,,I managed to get half of it in the net and in the boat,,well after number of pic`s and a measure of 41 inches and 20lbs i released her,,Debbie and i was excited and tired,,turned and casted again and WHAM!!!!!!!!!!!! another hit and a monster Musky,,this one was even bigger,,debbie said NO! not again! Twice as fat and sassy as the first one! Man this can`t get any better. I didn`t5 try and get this one into the boat,,didn`t want to hurt the pretty thing. This one was 44-45in and was released in good shape,,I don`t want to come home,,,I`m haveing a ball!,,come look at the pic`s on Facebook,,under Douglas Conrad Meyer,,,woo hoo yeah it`s been a great day!

My son Doug and I had another great morning,,he managed a fat 40 in musky and I had a monster on,,it too 50 ft of drag running thru the weeds till it pulled off,,couldn`t do a thing with it,,pulled 20lbs of weeds back in after it pulled off,,,all on swim baits fished over top of weeds,,,
