    nolin ledges tips

    anyone have any tips or info they want to share on fishing the ledges at nolin lake.

    6-10" Red Shad Plastics always seem to work, 5/16 oz and up texas rig. Rock piles, stumps . Sometimes Crankbaits like a DB3 will work, Time on water is unfortunately the best way to figure stuff out, but some of us don't get much free time.

    exactly what DaveR said, time on water. We used to fish together before kids have all our time occupied on Nolin. Red Shad is called the goto lure. Sometimes on Nolin the fish can suspend and may take a crankbait. Full moon is coming up, try slow rolling a 3/8oz or 1/2oz white spinnerbait just off the bottom and bump some stuff.
