    Bachelor Party Ideas NEEDED

I have never had a bachelor party or been to a bachelor party. Between College classes and Staff Infections, they ruint my opportunity to have one at either of my marriages but so be it. My Brother, who I pretty much can't stand, LONG STORY has asked me to be his Best Man and the wedding is Saturday. He only wants about 5 of us to take him out. We are having a wedding rehersal dinner at the Church FRiday night after rehersel, so no food is in store. Plan on leaving Winchester with 6 in my Explorer with the intent if being back at the church by 2pm wedding time Saturday.

Yes, Adult Entertainment of the Male Review Strip Club is defineately in order. Considering taking them to Babes on 38th street in Indianapolis but with the Brickyard 400 in town good luck. My guess it will be somewhere in Lexington. Since I have NEVER EVER NEVER EVER EVER EVER frequented one of these establishments, can a brother get a little insight as to which are the best and which are to be avoided. Basically looking for the raunchiest, softest, "HUG" that money will buy. My brother will probably be plastered after a few drinks anyways and then I plan on TAKING PICTURES for nothing more than honoring the memory of the night that was and of course BLACKMAIL!!!!!!

    Re: Bachelor Party Ideas NEEDED

Seriously? A bachelor party before the night of the wedding? That's not cool anymore...and usually not a good idea if you want a REAL bachelor party.

I've been to many bachelor parties in the past few years, none of which were the night before the wedding, and with good reason. I think the greatest one was here in Louisville - everyone got a room at the Ceasar's casino, played golf Sat. morning, then gambled that afternoon/evening, and then rented a party bus for the night from 9pm to 3am. The bus picked us up at the casino. This was no ordinary bus. It had leather seating, a mini-bar, laser lights, loud sound system, and a stripper pole. It was first class. We were also allowed to bring coolers with anything we cared to stuff in them. Only rule was that if someone puked onboard, we lost our huge deposit. Anyhow, at 10 am, we picked up a stripper in a Wal-Mart parking lot, and then proceeded to cruise around town with our live entertainment for a few hours. After we dropped off our live entertainment, we made stops at a few other establishments with live entertainment before ending the night back at the casino. It was a long day, and a long night. Might be too much if you plan on doing a bachelor party the night before the wedding. Since then, Louisville has tightened up on it's gentleman's club rules, so it might not be the same experience for you guys. The Rustic Frog over by Ceasar's is booming now that Louisville has changed it's rules.

I attended another bachelor party in Memphis, TN. Drove down on Saturday and caught a Memphis Redbirds baseball game. Afterward we roamed Beale St. and hopped around the bar scene. We loaded up for fun and games at the Pony, and were not disappointed. Got back to the hotel at about sunrise, slept a few hours, and made the journey back home with lots of good stories that still are brought up everytime we hang out together.

Nashville is another good venue for bachelor parties. Lots of fun bars to hang out in and is awesome if you like country music. Printer's Alley has lot of good live entertainment, but it closes up kind of early due to local city ordinances. That might be a good choice for you guys if you plan on calling it a night fairly early.

Well good grief........sounds like taking your brother to the Waffle House and buying him an extra scoop of butter for his pancakes will be your kind of exciting night

Not sure on the gentlemans clubs but if you got a few more guys together you could rent a house boat for the weekend. That's how I spent by bachelor party. House boat on lake cumberland back in 76 falls on poker run weekend. You can have your gentlemans club scenery and be on the water all at once.

Well y'all could hit Southern States hardware down in Scottsvegas. They got bridles on sale and you might as well get him used to wearing one. Plus you'd get to cross over Barren 3 times getting there. Just tossing out another option.

#1. Your brother is still your brother and, at some point, both of you need to bury the hatchet and start acting like loving brothers. From my own experience, in a split second he can be gone forever; that is when you will realize NOTHING is worth having a strained relationship with your brother.

#2. In defense of the bride, DON'T let your brother do something stupid that will cause grief for the bride or the groom and possibly destroy the marriage. Bachelor party 'secrets' have a way of crawling out just when everyone thinks nobody will ever know.

#3. Don't feel bad about your budget and consider the source if some wise guy makes an offensive comment. We all need to remember that you have had health problems that have taken their toll on your budget. Nobody would die if there wasn't a silly bachelor party. If somebody wants to see a stripper, let them go to the strip club and make a fool out of themselves at their own expense.

I admire your honesty and don't think you should strain your budget. When I was 'young and dumb' it would embarrass me if I couldn't afford to buy or do things like other people. Age has taught me wisdom and I'm not ashamed to say if I can't afford to do something and, if I can't, I'm not going to use my debit card or a credit card just to keep up with them.
