I've heard of a few people catching them but I'm not sure how and I'm not much of a walleye fisherman....I do know you'll have a hard time finding a weed line in Green as there is no grass in the lake

Heading down to Green for the weekend. Any info on the walleye bite would be appreciated. Plan on starting out trolling at about 20' then hitting the weed line at night.

I too wonder how people catch walleye on GRL. This time of year on Nolin we go up river and fish under a light around riffles. I'm curious if that would work on GRL. While coming in from muskie fishing there I notice people fishing with lights at night and wondered if they were walleye or crappie fishing.
I have caught a few nice ones bass fishing. Mostly when structure fishing next to ledges. I have not caught any recently but most of my fish have come around Butler creek area or close to the flats by ramp 1.
Both sides of Buffalo gap are good places for walleye. From gap to Holmes bend marina is deep rock wall. Other side is a huge flat with stumps, but as mentioned no grass on GRL. good luck
Thanks for the tips. I've heard about the ledges and that particular flat is where I have seen people fishing at night.
Thanks I'm leaving after work tomorrow and will give it a try
