Any tips for quickly locating white bass at Taylorsville?
I stumbled upon some good schooling white bass yesterday while I was actually looking for largemouth. My wife and I had a blast and almost filled our limit with some good sized ones in about an hour.
I found them on a flat and along the edge of the flat, catching them on a white lead spoon. They were not breaking the surface or in the "jumps" at all.
Curious if there is a good method for rapidly locating these fish or if anyone had any tips?
The best spot i know that usually always produces is when you leave sttlers trace boat ramp headed towards the dam you make that first turn to the right there is a big hump or under water island that is more towardsthe right hand side. Place your boat right on top of the shallowest area and start casting rooster tails in every direction. Only problem with that is all the traffic that is going by. Good luck jc
