Check with your conservation officer and the KY Dept of Fish and Wildlife.

They are still available. I believe the CO will come out to your place and verify the damage and issue you a certain amount of crop depredation tags. If you don't have a number for your CO you can call KDFWR at 1-800-858-1549.

Are these tags available for my home garden? One deer ate half my tomato plants this year and a bunch of the fruit from the plants he did not eat. He also ate all the other plants I planted as soon as they started to come out of the ground.

donger, call the 800 number above to make sure, but I believe they are only available for farms. I could be wrong about this so you might want to double check with KDFWR.

The way it was explained to me is that a KDFWR officer must come and access your complaint. We live in zone 1 and have to farms so during the reg season its unlimited Does for us and 1 buck.

Bingo, this is exactly how it rolls. I use to get them every year. Had 28 issued to me in one season before, we filled 17 of them with slickheads that year.
