Hello. I am planning on fishing LC this weekend with family from Monticello and looking for some striper advice. We are new to striper fishing and most people on here seem very helpful. Will be leaving out of Grider Hill. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try this thread, it may help some. I've not been on the water for a couple weeks now.

I would go VERY early. Hit the water from Grider an hour or 2 before sun up. Coming out of Indian Creek, watch the dam area and the area up both sides of the lake. Jumps might be happening with smaller fish, if not use the fish finder to look for schools and fish deeper for bigger fish.
Don't know if you done LC on Labor day before, but expect it to be mass of fast moving boat from 10-11 AM till rght at dark. Go early, break early. Be careful with the night fishing. Lights on, because there will be party folks who might have had a "few or so" and decide a late night cruise would be fun.
Good luck!
