Went to a warrick co. strip pit { $75 to fill the truck so staying close to home ! } and managed to catch nine 10-11" crappie sunday . All were very close to wood and about 2ft deep . 7 were caught with minnows , the rest on a beetle spin . With the days getting shorter the fishing should get better till the lakes flip . Oh , and by the way they was delicious !

Glad so see you caught some fish.
I drove out into the Warrick County area and saw a few boaters out on the strip pits along Boonville New Harmony Road just East of Pigeon Creek.
Not too many people were fishing at Bluegrass's Pits. I saw one guy with a float tube fishing a Pit off St John's Road and one boat on Bluegrass Pit. No one was on Otter or Loon Pit.
Lately I see more bike riders at Bluegrass than fishermen. What's up with that?
