I fly rod for them carp a lot in the Nolin river. Sometimes I wonder why I do it.
Spectacular. Pics; did you use the little pic button in the ky forum?
Nice!
Thanks guys!!
colonelmeyer - haha.. you know.... I think I clicked the "link" thingy instead of the "image" thingy... Thanks for the help!!
Wow - I just went back and looked..... you can't "edit" in that forum section or post pics.. It only gives you the "link" icon and not the "image" icon and you get edit here... go figure!! Should have been posting over here all along!
Thanks again!
You are certainly welcome. Thanks for sharing your pics.
OK Guys, now help me out....what are we talking about here, what are the bones.....?
By the way, great photo's....thanks for sharing.
Thanks!!
The act very similar to a Bonefish that you find in the tropics in the way that they "tail" or feed. Also they are pretty spooky and sometimes picky about fly selection like a Bonefish.... soooo some folks are now calling them "Golden Bones" or "Hillbilly Bonefish", "Freshwater Bonefish", etc, etc... Thus the "bones" slang... hope that helps!
So, are we saying the "bones" are "crap"?...if so, than just say it!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks!!
