Anyone have some good lakes/ponds/creeks to fish in Oldham county? Also what lures do you recommend?

I lived there for 14 years and was only able to find a farm pond or two where I got permission. Other than that Harrod's Creek as already mentioned and then there is the lake at Oldham County Park. You can only access one side because the prison is on the other side.

Same here - a couple farm ponds with permission. Will add the OH river ramp area in Westport. I always see a couple guys fishing from the docks in the evening. There is a pond in a park in La Grange that you can bank fish, but I can't remember the name of the park, sorry. I've never fished it but have seen people pull some nice blue gill out.

I have fished that small park in Lagrange but it's been a few years. It has a good amount of bass and blue Gil in it. I never caught any large bass but a bunch in the 12-14 inch range. I dated a girl that used to live right by the park so I used to fish it a lot. I can't remember the name of it either.

You might see if you can get permission to fish a quarry lake. Usually not a lot of access points but the fishing can be good.

I fished near a bridge, maybe I-71 bridge, there a few years back. It was shallow but I still caught a bunch of bass. Had 4 or 5 keepers.
