    Big South fork

    Planning a trip through the big South fork of the Cumberland river. Anyone done any fishing down there?

    Beautiful scenery. Few fish. That's been my experience anyway. Of course, that might not mean there are no fish there ...

    No experience this time of year, but spring can produce some nice walleye and white bass runs. Have seen some nice smallmouth caught under yamacrawl bridge in the spring as well.

    Didn't do to bad few yrs. ago from Yamacraw to Alum Ford. Caught some small mouths and some really big crappie. That was the drought summer.
