Needing minnows near Taylorsville Lake

Is the Settlers Trace store still closed. Need minnows bad!

It has reopened, the BP on Taylorsville Lake Rd has them, and Salt River Supply in Taylorsville across from the McDonalds also has them now.

If the marina is still open they had minnows.

From what I've heard ... yes, they are (or were, recently) biting, and the ones being caught are of quality size. Jigs, & even crankbaits, are catching them (according to my sources).

So it was a terrible day friday morning to afternoon. not the first crappie. 1 red ear and short largemouth on a minnow!
