I perfer to use 14 pound exel clear blue line from bass pro and was wondering what type of line you use for bass fishing???
Depends on what bait I am using. Jigs I use 20# floro. Spinner bait and Buzz baits 14# Mono. Cranks 10# Mono. Soft Plastic Baits 15# Floro.
10lb Vicious flouro or 10lb fireline braid.
seaguar invisx from 10 to 20 lbs. I have never had it break even light line it is great, great knots
15 lb. Berkley Big Game for most of my rods (spinnerbaits, topwaters, shallow cranks, rattletraps)
20 lb. PowerPro braid for my spinning rods, and use a 12 lb. fluoro leader (shakey head, small jerkbaits, french fry, small soft plastics)
20 lb. Seaguar Red Label fluoro on my jig, carolina rig, and flipping rods
12 lb. Seaguar Red Label fluoro on my deep cranks and jerkbaits
I use 15lb fluoro, either Vicious or Seaguar Red, for jigs, 12lb fluoro for cranks, 17lb mainline fluoro for carolina rigs, 6lb Vicious fluoro for shaky head/wacky rig, 14lb Suffix mono for topwater/buzzbait/spinnerbaits.
I like to keep things simple. Berkley Trilene XL for my mono needs and Vicious florocarbon for everything else.
"How is it possible for your eyes to be more beautiful than your smile", has always worked for me.
But I use Stren XL or Berkley Big Game for fish.
I have used Sunline before and liked it but I wouldn't say its dominate. But I found a great deal on it. Buy one get one free.
