    Boat Carpet Glue

I've got my new carpet on order and should be here in a few days. A buddy of mine has an unopened bucket of marine carpet adhesive that he didn't use. It is about 4 years old, it came with his carpet from BPS but he used something else. Anybody know if it would be any good or should I just get some new stuff? Thanks

Ditto outdoor carpet glue has served me well. Got mine at Lowes also. you'll know if it's any good when you open it up I would say. Might need good stirring.

    Re: Boat Carpet Glue

I installed carpet, tile and vinyl for about 30 yrs. The only way the glue
would break down, is, if it ever froze. Before you open it, shake it real good, i always rolled mine around on it's side too. When you open it, if it looks like it's "seperated" it's probably been frozen. If it looks lumpy, just stir it up good. Tr
