    trilene floro

I know that fishing line gets talked about on here alot but I've never seen anything about trilene floro. I got some the other night (8 lb.) and it frayed up really bad. could this be because I was trying to use it on a baitcaster, or is this not a good brand?

Interesting. I have never had any problem with Berkley trilene fluorocarbon. In fact, I think an argument could be made that it's amongst the best fluorocarbons on the market today, even if it is
A little costly. Also, I always put it on my baitcasters, so I see no problem there.

hey basman, is the line frayed within a foot of the bait? is so you might check the guides on the rod, you may have one going bad
