sauger fishing at Meldah dam is hot and heavy. Anchor or attach your boat to the wall on the ohio side. They are biting on jigging spoons or live minnows. They are stacked up very thick. Good luck

Is the lockmaster still running boats out of the approach to the locks? Several years ago they would run you off if you was around the wall on the Ohio side.

Thanks for the report.Meldahl is a little out of my range,about a 100 miles or so,never fished the dam but would like to try it sometime if the sauger can be got at from shore.
