    REGISTRATION AND BOAT CHECKS START AT 7:00 AM
    Cutoff 15 minutes before starting time. Starting position is sign up position.

    Prize money prorated on % of field – Pays out 1 place for 5 boats
    Example based on 50 boats
    1st place $1000 2nd place $500 3rd place $250 4th place $170 5th place $115
    6th place $100 7th place $90 8th place $80 9th place $75 10th place $70

    RULES AND REGULATIONS

    1. Life vests must be worn any time gas motor is running, and kill switch attached to driver’s vest.
    2. Fishermen must abide by all federal and state boating laws or be disqualified.
    3. No alcohol or illegal drugs during tournament hours.
    4. Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Spotted Bass 15 inch size limit.
    5. All fish measured with mouth and tail closed.
    6. No live bait or prepared baits except for pork rind.
    7. One pound penalty for each short fish.
    8. One pound penalty for each dead fish.
    9. Five (5) fish limit will be imposed.
    10. Official measurement will be on Golden Rule.
    11. Check-in after designated time will be disqualified.
    12. Tied positions money will be split equally.
    13. All decisions by tournament director are final.
    14. Tournament director will give official start time before tournament.
    15. Only one rod may be used by a fisherman at a time. No trolling.
    16. No fishing within 50 yards of a competitor’s boat if anchored off and trolling motor is up.
    17. No refunds will be given.

    Do you know that the coe and kdfw wants a permit at laurel branch . Thats why i moved mine to the state this year . Scott 270-617-1010

    The Permit is free you just have to call the Army Corp Office at the dam and ask for the person in charge of the permits. They are just trying to see how many Tournaments there are.

    yes it is free but this year they told me that i was going to need liabilty ins. scott

    We usually see something between 12-30 boats depending on the weather.

    Heard it took about 17 lbs for first. Don't hold me to that though.

    There were 24 boats and nearly 17 lbs won. Had to have 12 lbs just to be in the money. Big fish went a little over 6 lbs. I will post details of who and how much when I get them from our tournament director.
    Our club will be hosting another open in July and welcome everyone to attend.

    Mathes & Chambers 5 Fish 14.92
    Gaddis & Dixon 5 Fish 14.06
    We paid 5 places
