Howdy...

Come check us out at http://louisvillemetrobassclub.wordpress.com/

We are called the LMBC because the majority of the members live in or near Louisville. We have a core group of 10-12 or so guys that fish every tournament but we would like to be about double that size.

Our club is fairly inexpensive with entry fees at $35/tournament. We fish 9 or 10 tournaments a year from the Ohio River to Kentucky Lake with majority of the tournaments on lakes in the I65 corridor (Nolin, Green, Rough, Barren, etc.). All but two of these tournaments are draw tournaments with boater-nonboater pairings set at the meeting before the tournament. It's a fun centered learning environment with guys that have only fished a few years to those with 30-40 years of experience. The low entry fees mean just enough payout to make it interesting without it being overly competitive. More about bragging rights than money. We encourage sharing of information from the winners each month and really try to help one another become better anglers.

Our first meeting of the month is being held on Thursday February 2nd at 7p at the Harrods Creek Fire Department on HWY 42. If you have an interest come check us out. You won't be disappointed.
