i see qusetions from time to time regarding current water temps, clarity, levels etc, etc.
most of you already are aware of this but for those of you who arent here is a way to see for yourself (as long as its daytime lol).
go to www.lakecumberland.com
click on the tab to the right of the front page picture that says webcams.
the first page you see is a picture of jamestown marina, if there isnt alot of glare on the water you get a pretty good idea of the water color.
another view that gives a pretty good picture of water clarity and water level in relation to the far bank in the picture is "beaver creek marina"
to get an idea of what the other end of the lake looks like go to "lees ford marina" , this view offers a pretty good picture of water color, debris, wind etc etc.
these 3 views cover a pretty big portion of the lake, keep in mind they also offer a couple different locations in relation to lake location;
jtown= the mouth of greasy right on the main lake
beaver= roughly halfway up a major creek
lees ford= roughly the same as beaver,
the front page also gives lake level , water temp etc.
as always im sure there are plenty of people on here willing to answer water condition questions, but if i tell you the water is very clear main lake to slightly stained in the ends of the creeks i would more than likely be telling you about the jtown area, not much help if you are fishing white oak though.
good luck
