Was going to get out at daylight Saturday and listen for some gobbling. I haven't been out yet, but was curious if you guys are hearing gobbling yet.
Tim funny you ask...This morning taking the kids down to the bus stop just as plain as day one gobbled right in my back yard. I couldn't see him but you could tell he was right there.Chuck
They have been gobbling for 3weeks here in green county.Already have seen some hens slipping off looking to nest.

Figurred as much. My season may be shot. They may be done breeding by the time I can actually get in the woods. opening weekend this year fall right in the middle of our Dale Hollow trip!
I was on Laurel last weekend and the were yelling all over the lake. I am afraid with all the warm weather turkey season will be over long before it starts.
This morning there was probably 20+ hens and a big ole tom in the pasture next to my house.
Yes sir! Had one gobbling all the way up until around 10am. He was asking for it bad!
No serious gobbling yet,I've been watching a huge tom following a couple hens around the pasture fields here though.I did hear him gobble one ebvening before dark.
