    Nolin tailwater?

Has anybody been fishing the tailwater at Nolin? What is biting there this time of year? I would like to catch a walleye or some whitebass.

85 views and not ONE suggestion of what might be biting there?

I'm off Thursday and have a chance to go fishing, so I thought I would try out the Nolin Tailwaters. I just don't want to waste my time and money driving there if there isn't anythign thing biting there this time of year.

If you go, take crawlers. I was there about three weeks ago, and caught several whites, a nice crappie, and some giant bluegill. Most bites came from over the big riprap on the inside of the first bend. Walleye should be there too now, not sure what the temp is, but a few males should be posting up.

Thank you very much! How were you fishing the night crawlers?

    Re: Nolin tailwater?

Was down there month or so ago tagged into some good white bass up tight by spillway. using white grub under a bobber. Had hard time fishing the bottom as I hung up to much. Once we made it below boat ramp we didn't even get a sniff. Good luck. Might wantto head to Brownsville lock looking for them walleyes as they can't get past it with the water flows these past few weeks. While your fishin I'll be workin so enjoy your trip.
