I'm looking for a happy medium between cost and quality. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Oakleys.
Look into a brand called WileyX. Most styles are just over 100 bucks. They are designed for athletic and outdoor use. One of the best pairs of polarized specs I've used. And, I've owned Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Costa's. For the money, they cant be beat.
I bought a pair from Sam's club for a trip to Cancun and they are better as far as the polarized view then then the WileyX i have or just as good as my son's $250 Costa del mar's. I paid $32 for them and i think the brand name was Vesa.
Kydog
I wear prescription glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses runs runs into the $100's+. I wear a brand called cocoons over my script glasses that are great and run about $40. They are made to fit over a regular pair of glasses. Just thought I'd throw that in for all us 4 eyed guy's.
I keep a pair of clip ons in the glove box of my boat. But when I wear them I can't read the Humminbird's Sonar Screen. I have to flip them up to read the screen and flip them down to see fish though the water.I wear prescription glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses runs runs into the $100's+. I also use the berkley sunglasses from walmart. Hard to beat for the price. I have a pair of wileyx too and they are also very good. Think they cost like $120 but I got mine free back when abu garcia was giving you a pair free when you purchased a revo model that cost $200 or more
I use oakleys and wouldn't trade them for the world. The comfort is second to none. As for removing reflections, the cheap ones work just as well.
Has anybody seen the SK Plus glasses yet?
