    New Largemouth Record for Arkansas

    16-5 ibs ... beats our record of 13-10, caught in 1984 at Wood Creek Lake by Dale Wilson of London. The Arkansas record had lasted 36 years before being broken yesterday.

    ditto ! the ol jelly worm. got my first pack 37 years ago for christmas ! manns grape jelly worms.....that and a rapala were my whole tackle box.....wish i could go back to when i was excited to have those items in my tackle box. glad the state record wasnt broken on a "square bill bucketmouth dominator 2012 edition" on sale now for $23.99

    lol isnt it crazy how much stuff changes? im not very old but a grape worm and a rapala were always my go to baits when i was a kid.

    Can't beat the old ribbon-tail worm....love the culprit 7" red shad color...always caught fish on those where ever I went.

    That's a hog of a fish for sure!
