Crucial Rods

Anyone use the new style Crucial casting rod? I'm looking to get a couple of the worm and jig rods. Pro's and con's

I have not used them but know a few people that have made the switch because of their over the counter free replacement warrenty. Buy one at a shop near you and if you break it they replace it right on the spot.

I'll second that! Shimano is the best. I just warrantied an older Crucial for a new style. Over the counter, no receipt at A2O Boating Supplies on Veterans Parkway! I also bought a Swim bait Crucial for the A-rig. Can't wait to use them.
You cannot go wrong with a Crucial. I have at least 20 Crucial Rods. They are the best!

Dont forget about the clarus rods they also have the free replacement policy and are half the price and as long as you get the 2012 model Im not sure that they arent almost as good as the crucial...................check out land big fish and see them for yourself.................http://www.landbigfish.com/showcase.cfm?PID=7526


new for 2012 are rod specific laser etched on the butt of the rod

have been using for several years and they are really great rods for the money. not as light as loomis or upper end st croix but tough as nails and as noted, great warranty.
