Brush Creek

Does anyone know if Brush Creek is still a trolling motor only lake or if you can use your outboard at idle speed. I was told that you could now use your outboard but did not know if was true.

Fished Brush Creek today.Caught 25 to 30 crappie and lots of small bluegill. Most of the crappie were very small but did have two probably 11". There are no markings for motor restrictions but it does say on the fishing regulations state lakes less than 300 aceas are trolling motor only.

I have a friend that fishes a club tourney there every spring. He told me you can idle your gas engine on that lake.

How is the silting situation at Brush? Last time I heard about it it was extremely hard to get to deep water.

No problem getting around. Water was deep enough everywhere. The ramp is shallow,but always has been.
