Spawn Status in your Lake

What is the status of the Bass spawn in your lake?

The spawn is done for the most part on Green. With the calm and clear water today we twice found bass guarding their fry. They would not leave the little school of fry nor would they bite anything we offered them.

Cedar Creek Lake - I have heard of some anglers saying that they have spawned but I've seen only three beds and that was it. Most everyone I've talked to say that the big push has not started yet but that it is almost here. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen on the next new or full moon, especially with the warm weather we are about to get.

Fished Barkley this weekend and from what I could tell almost all of the largemouth are done spawning, most are guarding fry. The SM have been done for several weeks.

KY Lake North Pre and Post, A crappie fisherman caught a 5.3 and a 4.6 and fillet them (puke) and they were full of eggs just this past Saturday and caught them on a main lake point.

Lake Ellerslie are about done. I found some fish guarding their fry in the weeds and also found a couple locked on the nest last week.
This has been a Jacked up spring!!

saw some lunkers gaurding the nest this weekend none would take, did manage to catch some of the smaller bass in the same area though caught 8 with 2 real nice bass all on jigs tight to the wood.
