i am going tonight,has anyone tried this year?

i tried out in front of my place. caught 4 catfish in four days. I am in the lower end on Wilderness Rd. The largest was a 9lb Flathead on bluegill head, had another 3lb channel on dough bait. The channel was full of blood worms. All were caught in less than 12 feet of water. i was casting some 45-60 yards off the bank. I'm sure its better on the upper end.
