Thats why im always looking for the most snake infested fishing holes i can possibly find the more snakes that are there the bigger the bass will be. And you dont have to worry about them being fished to death because most people dont being around snakes.
If that bass is 10lbs then I've caught a lot of 10 lbers. That's maybe a 5-6 lber.
I once saw a snake trying to enter the water at Cumberland. Three large bass were waiting on the snake. Each time the snake tried, the bass would start to move in, then back off when the snake changed it's mind. They played cat and mouse for five minutes then the snake just gave up and moved up the bank.
lol at the snake rod comment...don't give the rod manufacturers marketing departments any ideas...though Im sure its already on somebodies white board
That's crazy. Not this guy.
That's an awesome story! And ya gotta love the ending, "releasing catch and bait..."
I bet that snake has an aversion to water nowadays.
I had a 3 lber puke up a 14in water snake in my livewell. Snakes don't bother me, but a rattle snake would be a little difficult to handle.
