If a Kentucky marina off the Ohio River is marked no fishing, does that mean the entire marina or just around the docks and the boats? Thanks for any info.!!!!

I dont know the answer but I did not think anyone owned any water. And therefore you could fish as much as u want. So if you can float it, u should be able to fish it. But then again i have no idea just brainstorming.
Nevermind just found this...

about halfway down answers it.
I know you can't fish any marina in Harrods creek
It says "Public marinas on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lakes" (emphasis added by me)...makes me wonder if the marina you're talking about really has the legal right to limit fishing if you're in a boat.
Our tournament is out of the Charlestown ramp and I'm talking about the marinas on the Kentucky side of the river. Also, are the creeks on that side idle speed?
I would advise idle speed in those creeks if you value your lower unit and/or other people's safety. It can get pretty narrow with tons of wood. Be safe and good luck.
What I meant to ask: are those creeks electric motor only like 14 mile creek? Thanks!!!
By law they can not keep you out of a marina, unless they dig out the marina and there is no creek flowing into it. Look up I think it is US V Miami. It should out line the entire law. By law they can not keep you out of Captains Quarters or any other marina. The way I read it the only one they can keep you out of is the old rock quarry on the In.
The only marina to worry about in Louisville area is Capt. Quarters. They will go out of their way to run you out. The rest of them are fine. If anyone complains, let it fall on deaf ears. I've also never had a problem with the quarry.
