Once the weather finally turned to our favor it turned out to be a great snapper season. Most of my fish were in the ten to fifteen pound range out of my kayak in sixty feet of water less then two miles from the beach.
Nothing better then going out there, getting two nice snapper and coming back in all for the price of a bag of ice, some bait and some drinks. Cant beat living in paradise.

Nice fish! You verticle jigging those?
Andrew
In that shallow of water, vertical jigging can get expensive. The mackerel will cut off jig after jig and at around ten bucks a pop it just isnt worth it to me. I just use frozen cigs. I can get five pounds for less then the price of two jigs.
Now in deeper water I love hispeed jigging for AJs and grouper.
That's awesome! Looks like you are continuing to make good use of those kayaks!
Keep the pics coming.
