    Reel Repair

    Anybody used Dave's Reel Repair service out of IL? interesting and impressive website. wanted any feedback before sending reels out. thanks in advance.

    I haven't used them but i have used Pro Reel Service out of Wichita, KS. I have had very good luck with them. I just had a pro qualifier super tuned and repaired there a few months ago. It is even better than new now.

    Another vote here for "The Legend". The name of his business is Reel Cleen. He's done every Shimano Citica that I own, and I was impressed at what a little cleaning and oiling can do for one. Definately a stand up guy

    Just curious as to what it cost per reel to have one cleaned and oiled?

    Thanks for the referrals guys! I charge $15.00 to disassemble/clean/lube/repair (minus parts costs, should any parts be needed). My website is listed below and has more info and prices for other services. I'm located in Brownsville (near Nolin Lake) by the way.
