    Nicaragua Snook Fishing

Well....I finally got to do it. A once in a life timetrip. I have family that lives in Nicaragua and every couple of years we godown there from Kentucky. I have spent a lot of time fishing Lake Nicaragua andthe Pacific side but have never gone to the Caribbean side. You can only getthere by boat or plane. The place is stacked with fish. We went out for a halfday and caught 19. It was not even the best time of the year to go as it was rainy season. Hardly anybody there fishes with lures and fishing in a jungle with monkeys in the trees was amazing. In the spring they say the Tarpon stackup and you can catch a 200lb + tarpon on a fly. I may be going back a lot sooner than every couple of years!
