Fishing Teams or Tournaments

I have a 13 year old son , who lives, breathes fishing and hunting. He has always said that he would fish with the big boys one day. We are looking to find out what we can do to get him fishing in tournaments and how do we go about doing it. I have contacted a gentlemen at the KY bass Assoc. but he has yet to get back with me. If anyone can point me in the right direction, we would greatly appreicate it so very much.

My best advice is to go to the local tackle and bait stores to find local clubs and organizations in your area that would be compatable with your sons age. There also would be a chance that there is a fishing team at the local school. If not you maybe could organize one.

When i was fishing www.Americanbassanglers.com they lowered the age too 14 too fish with the big boys & girls.I know there are other trails too but you mite need a boat for them.
