    Drawdown

Not sure if it is true but I was told today they may lower it an additional five feet to work on some pumps up toward wax.

I sure hope not cause if the lake goes down 30ft all of wax marina will be out of water. Couldn't use that boat ramp!!!!

Yes like I said the big pull starts Oct. 15th. They try to pull the lake 8-12ins a day!

    Water level

I just spoke with the Corps on Nolin they said that they were not, However she did say that this year they will draw down to 492 but next year they will go back to 490. Hope this clears things up. enjoy the fishing and be safe on the water

Another 5 feet down would have been awful. The upper end of that lake is dangerous enough at winter pool.

He is right guys!!! Nolin at winter pool isn't the safest place to fish on the upper end! Remember the maps on the graphs are for summer pool. So stay in the channel and still take your time driving around on the lake at winter pool.

Went to Nolin today and it was tough fishing. Water temp was bout 73 and it was windy at times. Fish seem to have been hanging round 30ft. It looked like the lake had already droped a couple inches.
