If I wanted to bank fish below one of the dams on the KY River near Lexington, where would I have good access?

There is also access at boonsborough state park. You cannot get right up to the dam (spillway) but pretty close. You can also go around and get access somehow on the other side of the river. I am guessing off of 4 mile road but not exactly sure how as I have seen pepole fishing the other side right up to the dam from my boat.
Thanks gents! Checked out the area around Boonesboro for a bit this morning. You can get below the spillway from 4 mile road, though there is no real parking on that side. Plenty of access along the state park. Decent looking ramp too. Not too far from the spillway, so might be something to try from the kayak in spring if the white bass are running.
