Nice pics. Looks like you were more successful than most have been reporting from Dale Hollow recently.
I'm hoping it picks up. I'm going to be down there for the weekend in a couple weeks.

Fishing was TOUGH. We caught fish on the fly mostly. Also managed to catch a couple on Jigs and tail spinners.
No monsters, but some quality slots. Managed to catch a couple really big unders, which would have been nice had I been fishing the billy.
Oh well.

What weekend.......I'm down there the next two, and then for a few days between christmas and new years.

The 14th-16th.
On a related note, caught my first FNF smallmouth of this season at Cumberland yesterday. We weren't very seriously fishing and got fishing about 9AM for a few hours. It was a healthy 18" fish.
I think i'll add Dale too the bucket list of places i need too fish.Looked like fun.

I would sure like to here a good report about Dale but I am not for sure that is going to happen. I think the fish kill that took place back in the summer really done some major damage. Good luck fellows and try to give us that good report really like fishing that lake.
I agree with you, I have fished Dale all winter with a conservative guess my numbers and size are off 90%, and I dock with Live Bait guides and there reports are terrible as well. The production is drasticly off of the norm. The Smalljaw forum, Small-Mouth fishing reports are down as well. True some smaller fish are being caught. Two observations the larger fish are not being boated, and the overall numbers are way way down for the norm.
I cant tell you what took place. This is a set back for the lake. There is no quick fix, someone smarter than me will tell how us many years yes years, this takes to rebound. We are into nearly 5 weeks of water temps under 60, we are twice that under high 60's. So when someone tells you its just wired weather, well you do the math.
I'll be the happiest crow eatN perch jerk er on the lake if IM wrong.
Yet I still fish 4-5 days a week trying to prove it can be done. Some of us wont give up, (more won't admit it wink)
I could not view the photos from my computer or from an ipad.
Can you upload a couple here.
Thanks
