Had about a dozen or so, 5 keepers that went 10# - but one was a 5 pounder! RC1 squarebill crankbait around the dying weed cover and laydowns today. Thought it would be a deeper jerkbait day, but I quickly switched.

Nice. What was the water temp? I caught a 5 lb Saturday out of a small lake in 43* water on a jig but never thought about the squarebill.Had about a dozen or so, 5 keepers that went 10# - but one was a 5 pounder! I haven't fished Corinth in several years. I used to fish it quit reguraly. It is a fun lake to fish and I have a few fish of really good size.
It was 48 degrees all day. Water was very clear despite the recent rains, and I was able to see many fish come and take a look, but wouldn't commit. Could've swam or pitched a jig and done well, but I didn't have a lot of time and was keying in on the reaction bite with the squarebill.
