    Best Smalllie of the year!!

Got out yesterday on Cumberland and was able to watch the best smallie of the year be landed. His first ever F&F trip and 20min. in had a nice brown fish in the boat. I think he has been practicing his "Bobber Slinging" skills at night when no one is looking. There is something special about watching children catch fish.

Nice fish young man!! Keep a kid in the woods or on the water when they are young and they are more likely to grow up to be fine male role models in the future.

The best part was he casted the fly, set the hook and reeled in that smallie all by himself. Nobody else did anything but net it. He ended up catching 2 smallmouth all on his own on the fly. He was pretty good at casting it.
