first off you can make any jerkbait suspend using suspend dot or stips. my favorite one is norman razor. you have to change weight as water temps change.

I was wanting to start fishing colder water and wondering what everyones favorite suspending jerkbait for water around 50 degrees was. I have a ton of Rapala Husy Jerk type lures but I never seem to do any good on them. Maybe I just fish to fast I dunno. I got a bunch of money on gift cards to spend at bass pro and was wanting to try someting new. Thanks everyone.

I like my Smithwick Rogue that I put Suspendots on. It works just right for me.
Lucky craft pointers.
Pointers
Rapala x-rap. The deep running version. Incredible action, nothing like the shallow version. Wreaks havoc on the smallies in feb. It can be fished in 3 feet of water. Dont let the "deep" part fool you.
I am a jerkbait fool. I have all kinds but find the Pointers to trick them when others won't. It may be a confidence thing. I love X-Raps, Husky jerks, Rogues even the BPS jerkbaits aren't bad but don't hold up to good after a few rocks and Smallmouth smashes....
Also have some homemade APB models that are the bomb at times....Not many other folks have those....
Lucky Craft 112MR in Pearl Ayu and Tenn Shad colors, also tie them with a loop knot for more action. I also have a bag full of the KVD Jerkbaits to try out here soon. They seam very close in design to the 112 MR at half the price.
I love the Spro McStick as well as the Megabass Vision 110+1. Fishing shallow I love the Excalibur Xs4 stick bait.
Smaller Smithwick Rogue would be my #1 if I had to choose
